ASG appoints new Head of Operations to lead integration of ASG and SMS
ASG Group Limited (ASG) has appointed Andrew Rose to the newly created role of Head of Operations. His initial responsibility is to lead the operational integration of ASG and SMS Management & Technology.
ASG’s acquisition of SMS has now cleared all approval processes, with completion scheduled for 26 September.
Most recently, Mr Rose was Chief Operating Officer at DWS Limited and spent more than 25 years at Telstra, holding General Manager, Director and Executive Director positions.
ASG’s Chief Operating Officer Dean Langenbach said that Mr Rose is an exceptional leader who has a particular interest in managing teams through time of change.
“Bringing in someone of Andrew’s calibre underlines ASG’s intention to create an outstanding merged organisation that is committed to success,” said Mr Langenbach
“The merging together of ASG and SMS will create an organisation with the scale, capability and financial strength to represent a genuine, credible alternative to the incumbent Tier 1 providers.”
Mr Rose said he relished the opportunity to play such an important role during a pivotal time in ASG’s history.
“This is an exciting time for ASG, with an abundance of opportunity to build market presence through providing customer service that is different, client driven and which delivers a complete digital transformation solution,” he said
“The new ASG will be a game-changer for customers in the Australian marketplace and I am very excited to be a part of building this fresh and dynamic organisation.”
